Arctic Flamethrower Pig salmon fly
This is my Arctic Flamethrower pig which uses combinations from some highly succesfull fly patterns. It uses the most mobile of materials tyed in the flamethrower style to prevent wrapping when casting!
This is a great fly for fresh fish.
To order this or any of my flies please e-mail me at ballingall512@sky.com
Smashing fly that, have you had much success with it, and in what conditions is it best used.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment.
ReplyDeleteI have had a few fish on this pattern, It fishes well when the water is starting to clear ater a flood.
Movement is the key to this pattern, it pulses and swims, and the bristles vibrate, enticingly.
It will also fish well in lower water if dressed on smaller hooks.
