Upper North Wark - River Tweed - Beat Report Week 1 Ending 6th February 2016

Welcome to our 1st beat report of the 2016 salmon fishing season on the River Tweed. We start the season with a new Head Boatman in place with Martin Ritchie joining us from Upper Hendersyde.  With constant high water from November the opening week was pretty much a wash out with us losing 5 out of the 6 days fishing. We did have a go on the Friday in very windy conditions and not the greatest water alas without any success. Hopefully the conditions with settle down for next week and we can get some fishing done .

If you would like to fine out more about fishing on the Upper North Wark beat of the River Tweed please give Martin a call on 07825334427 or email

Please come along and like our Facebook Page and join in the discussion and check out our other deadly salmon flies.
