Upper North Wark - River Tweed - Beat Report Week 5 Ending 5th March 2016

Week 5 started with the river level at 1ft, by Tuesday afternoon it was back up to over 4ft and running lovely and brown. The colour slowly came out over the next few days. On Friday we had a lovely east wind howling up the river which made conditions tough but Tweed regular Mr Ian Hayward manage to tempt a beautiful 8lb springer from the Snipe on a 2.5" Black and Gold Floating Devon Minnow. Ian lost a 2nd fish later in the morning alas that was it for the week. Total so far for the season 2 Salmon.

If you would like to fine out more about fishing on the Upper North Wark beat of the River Tweed please give Martin a call on 07825334427 or email
