Here's a batch of Tay Salmon Fly black and yellow tube flies, these are also known as a Tosh Salmon Fly ready to be posted to a client who fishes the River Tweed, Scotland.
These flies are tied on 1 inch Copper Tubes and are a great pattern early and late season fished on 1" - 2" tubes depending on water conditions

With the 2012 salmon fishing season drawing to a close, its time to get the fly boxes cleaned out and restocked for next season. One of the 1st flies that i'll reach for in the spring with be the above Black & Yellow tube. A very basic but highly effective fly for catching the elusive springers.
