The Yellow Ally's Shrimp is a good variation of the original Ally's Shrimp. I have found this pattern particularly effective through the month of may. A good friend of us at Tay Salmon Fly uses this pattern with great success throughout the autumn normally on size 6 and size 8 dressed hooks.
