Orange and Black Tube Fly

Here is an example of the modern scandinavian style tube flies that i tie. Tied here on copper tubes the long mobile hackles and wing will hopefully encourage a fish to take. Designed for clearing water after a spate these flies also have a fluro green 'butt' to act as a target for taking fish.

The monkey fly has become one of the most prolific takers or Spring run fish in recent years and no angler should be without at least one in their arsenal.

Flies for the back end of the season

These two flies are perfect for fishing the late summer and on into Autum, the subdued colors really improve your chances of hooking a fish that may have become resident in a pool or that has gone of the take.
