Upper North Wark - River Tweed - Beat Report Week 4 Ending 27th February 2016
Week 4 finally brought some settled weather and river conditions. With the beat level on Monday at 2ft 3" we were at a very good level and if fish came in we would be confident of getting a fish. On Tuesday we got our season off and running with our 1st springer landed on the fly from the Snipe Pool on a Tay Salmon Fly Spring Comet Salmon Fly by Mr Callum Highet. On Tuesday and Wednesday we saw a few fish in the pools and fish were caught on the beats around us. The rest of the week provided some pulls but nothing else stuck. At the week came to an end the water level at dropped to 1ft 3".
If you would like to fine out more about fishing on the Upper North Wark beat of the River Tweed please give Martin a call on 07825334427 or email
